Own GOFLUO’s Germany growth and build the future playbook
This isn’t a “manage what exists” job. GOFLUO is building Germany.
You will own how we show up in the German run, outdoor and bike world: where we go, with whom, and why. You’ll be the person who makes GOFLUO real in the market, not from a desk, but in stores, in communities, and on the road.
You’ll spend a big part of your time visiting partners, improving merchandising, training teams, and driving sell-through. You’ll also think strategically: how do we win omnichannel in Germany? How do we activate the right communities? How do we scale?
No copy-paste playbooks. No safe defaults. All yours.
You’ll report to our Belgian HQ team and get marketing support from them.
The role
After an onboarding deep dive with HQ, you step into ownership. You set the commercial direction, define what “winning” looks like in Germany, and decide what to scale, what to fix, and what to stop. You move fast but not blindly. You test, learn, iterate, and build momentum that compounds.
This is a role for someone who loves the field, loves the product, loves the outdoors, and loves building a brand people want to be part of.
What You’ll Do
Own the Germany sales strategy (Run / Outdoor / Bike)
- Define the account strategy: target segments, partner types, expansion sequencing, and priorities
- Build a high-quality wholesale portfolio (specialty retail first, brand-fit always)
- Own forecasting, re-orders, seasonal planning, and performance management
- Negotiate partnerships that work commercially and strengthen the brand
Be in the field
- Visit stores across Germany to drive execution and relationships
Ensure GOFLUO looks and feels right in-store: merchandising, placement, storytelling - Train shop teams so they understand the product and sell it confidently
- Spot what’s working (and what isn’t) early, and report fast
Build community and brand pull
- Activate local communities: clubs, crews, ambassadors, events, retail partners
- Represent GOFLUO at races, rides, and outdoor moments that matter
- Build partnerships that create real demand — not just impressions
Make Germany win on e-commerce (with HQ)
- Bring sharp market insights: what Germans respond to, what converts, what needs adapting
- Collaborate with the Belgian team on local campaigns, offers, bundles, and partnerships
- Close the loop between retail feedback and online performance (product, messaging, conversion)
You won't
- Hide behind decks, process, or endless alignment meetings
- Do “drive-by sales” without store execution and sell-through focus
- Compromise on GOFLUO’s brand standards for short-term volume
How you’ll succeed
You’ll succeed by making GOFLUO a brand that shows up everywhere it matters in Germany: in specialty retail, in the community, and online.
That means:
- Measurable wholesale growth + strong re-order engine
- Clean execution in-store (merchandising, placement, training)
- Real community pull (events, ambassadors, partners)
- A German e-commerce presence that converts better because it’s grounded in the market
- Build and scale the right partnerships
- You love GOFLUO as a brand and fully support the values
What you’ll bring
- Proven experience growing sales in sport / outdoor / run / bike (wholesale, field sales, or account leadership)
- Strong retailer instincts: you know what drives sell-through and how to make brands win in-store
- Comfortable with merchandising, training, and being hands-on in the field
- Strategic judgment: you can build a plan and also execute it yourself
- Natural relationship builder — retail partners trust you, communities like you
- You’re sporty and you genuinely want to live in this world
- Native German speaking + strong English (you’ll work with HQ in Belgium)
- Driver’s license + high comfort with frequent travel
